Q: What do you pick up?
A: Please refer to our Rates and Service page for this information.
Q: What is not accepted?
A: Styrofoam, sod, pet waste, drywall, soft plastics (IE Wrap), batteries, oil, oil filters and household chemicals.
Q: Do we have to sort our materials?
A: Yes. Paper seperate from all other materials. Hard Plastics/Metal/Glass (These can go in the same bin) Cardboard , construction,craft and colored paper.
Q: What kind of containers should we use?
A: Weatherproof plastic is the best option. Many customers use hard plastic resealable containers. We can provide you with containers upon request (Approx $10 per bin).
Q: How does it work?
A: The customer places recycling in bins on curb or patio on pickup day. Kick It To The Curb Curbside Recycling will empty materials into our truck and leave the empty bins back with the customer.
Q: What day is recycling day?
A:This depends on your neighbourhood, please refer to "Pick Up Dates" section of website. Your day may change in the future to accommodate more Airdrie residents.
Q: Is there a limit on quantity you will pick up?
A: Ready recycling encourages Airdrie residents to recycle as much as possible. We understand initial pick ups can be quite large, but we have found that once a week pick ups make recycling manageable for the customer as well as Ready Recycling.
Q: I run a business from my home. Is my material safe from fraudsters?
A: Ready Recycling cannot guarantee the safety of private documents as all materials are disposed at a public recycling facility. You are encouraged to shred (Cross shredding provides the best security) any and all sensitive materials before placing in bins.
Q: Would you pick up for my business as well?

Q: How Do We Get Started ?
A: Just click on "Contact Us" and you can start service for your next available pick up day by sending us your name, address, phone number and a request to start service. We will e-mail you a New Customer startup package, and add you to the route list for your areas next service date. Or you can call to request service at 403-466-8402.
